the banner shows a detail of an artwork of korean-born painter Young-Ja Zimmermann living in germany since 1970 (Roter Planet (2006), Mischtechnik auf Leinwand, 60x80 cm). when combining different styles originating in european abstract art and east-asian tradition as well as different materials, as in collage design, she reflects unity through diversity and “the utopian moment in each effort aiming at reconciling what is different” (http://www.koreanarts.de/).
